SAN MIGUEL PRIMAVERA SOUND IN THE POBLE ESPANYOL

San Miguel Primavera Sound announces part of the programme that will be held in the Poble Espanyol on the 25th and 29th May next year.

On Wednesday 25th the spectacular live show of the Japanese trio Nisennenmondai, who will perform in our country for the first time, is confirmed, as well as the European presentation of the all-girl-band Las Robertas from Costa Rica. The 3 other bands that will complete the line-up for this first night in Montjuïc are still to be announced.

The list of artists who will play in the Poble Espanyol on Sunday 29th is headed by the veteran band Mercury Rev, who will perform their most successful album, "Deserter's Songs” (in what will be their second concert after the one in the Auditori of the Forum). Deakin (member of Animal Collective) will be there too, to present his solo debut album. The historical BMX Bandits (classical pop from Scotland), the Americans My Teenage Stride, Me And The Bees from our home town (authors of one of the best national records of the year) and the hotly-tipped British band The Vaccines round up the line up of the closing day of the San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011.
