Jon Hassell and Mumdance have cancelled their performances and Terry Riley & Gyan Riley and Martyn join the line up

We are sorry to inform you that Jon Hassell will not be able to play at Primavera Sound 2019 due to health issues that make it impossible for the artist to travel to Barcelona.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. In his place there will be a concert by Terry Riley & Gyan Riley: the North American composer and pianist, one of the pioneers of minimalist music along with Philip Glass, La Monte Young and Steve Reich, will give a performance of maximum improvisation with a minimum of notes in the Auditori del Fòrum accompanied by his son (collaborator of Lou Reed, Lee Ranaldo and John Zorn) on the guitar.
The British producer and DJ Mumdance, will also be unable to play at this year’s festival.  According to his management agency, the artist is “taking some time away from music to deal with personal issues”. Martyn will take his place in live format, the versatile Dutch DJ and producer who has established a reputation in one thousand and one nights in Berghain, one of the clubs where he is a resident.
