minimúsica has been collaborating with Primavera Sound for nine years now, thus reasserting its principal objective to bring quality modern music closer to children, giving them the opportunity to live an interactive experience with some of the artists who will play at the festival and enjoy its programme too.
This Sones initiative has consolidated itself as a pioneering project responding to the needs of a new generation of parents who want to boost the creativity and critical and artistic sense of their children. minimúsica’s main objective is to promote family activities to stimulate the musical education of children in a free, playful and dynamic atmosphere.
The minimúsica area will be up and running for the three main days of the event in the Parc del Fòrum, where there will be workshops for children as well as a musical spectacle during the day on Saturday 30th May, by the Barcelona based Dotore from San Sebastian, Sierra from Madrid and from Vic CARLA and Germà Aire. With the sea as a leitmotif, as well as concerts there will be workshops and activities for children around this theme and the area will have a free play area with qualified monitors, a baby care area and protective headphones will be handed out.
Among the bands that have participated in this project before are MOURN, Fred i Son, Mujeres, Manos de Topo, Pony Bravo, Doble Pletina, Anímic, Herman Dune, Helen Love and Dirty Projectors to name but a few.
