Primavera Sound has signed an agreement with Ticketbis, by which the ticketing company will become a new official ticketing platform for the festival at both a national and international level. In addition to providing a secure marketplace for fans to resell unwanted tickets, Ticketbis will also be a primary official ticket outlet for the event alongside other distributors such as Ticketea and Ticketmaster. Accordingly, the platform will be providing a site on which the day tickets, VIP packages and other ticket deals for the event at the official asking price will be sold.
“For its fifteenth edition, we expect to see an increase in the number of attendees, both national and international, with the participation of an extensive range of countries. This is why we have chosen to work with Ticketbis as their international presence will facilitate the marketing of tickets abroad and will attract a greater number of fans.” says Alfonso Lanza of Primavera Sound.
Through the agreement, fans from more than 30 countries can acquire tickets in an easy and secure way via websites tailored to their language and which give them the option to pay in their local currency. Ander Michelena, CEO and Co-founder of Ticketbis states “We are proud to be partners with an organization of the calibre of Primavera Sound which attracts more and more fans from all over the world every year”. He adds “The platform will provide users who can not attend the event the opportunity to sell their tickets; the aim is to adapt to the needs of fans and optimise the overall experience of buying and selling.”
